CRA Motorcycle Racing Coming to Podium Club May 3-5

Rev your engines and prepare for a fast, fun weekend as the California Roadrace Association (CRA) visits the Podium Club at Attesa in Casa Grande, AZ, for Round 3 of their five-race 2024 schedule. From May 3rd through May 5th, the Podium Club’s 2.32-mile, 15-turn circuit comes alive with the sights and sounds of speed and horsepower, featuring two days of intense competition across four different motorcycle groups.

The CRA stands as the premier motorcycle racing organization in the West, renowned for its commitment to fostering safe and enjoyable racing experiences while nurturing the talents of riders from all backgrounds. As riders gear up their second visit to the Podium Club, anticipation is high for a spectacle that will showcase everything from nimble, small-displacement race bikes to the thunderous power of heavyweight American iron twins.

But the excitement doesn't stop at the races themselves. With available contingency payouts from motorcycle manufacturers like Yamaha, Kawasaki, and BMW, as well as tire giants Dunlop and Bridgestone, the stakes are higher than ever. Riders have the chance to not only claim victory on the track but also earn valuable rewards for their performance.

The support of sponsors adds an extra layer of excitement, with cash prizes and product payouts up for grabs in various classes. The prestigious Pacific Utility Gold Cup, taking center stage on Sunday of race weekend, promises a showdown of epic proportions as competitors vie for supremacy and the accompanying rewards.

Can last year’s winner, Wyatt Farris, repeat on his Motorsport Exotica/BST Vodka BMW M 1000 RR?  Or will defending CRA champion (and 2023 Podium Club race runner-up) Bryce Prince finish one place better on his BPR Racing Yamaha YZF-R1?

The weekend kicks off with a practice day on Friday, May 3rd, hosted by Apex Assassins. This day provides riders with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the twists and turns of the billiard table smooth Podium Club track, ensuring they're ready to push the limits come race day. For those ready to take their passion for racing to the next level, Friday also offers the chance to obtain their CRA license, opening the door to the exhilarating world of competitive racing.
