The SCCA Arizona Region is kicking off the 2025 racing season with the Arizona Sports Car Challenge, happening March 22-23 at the Podium Club in Casa Grande, Arizona. This highly anticipated event welcomes experienced racers and track day drivers alike, offering multiple race classes and two intermediate DE Groups (Saturday only).
A Race for Everyone
• Club Racing Experience (CRE) – No competition license required! A perfect entry point for drivers with some experience who want to race in a controlled environment.
• DE 2 & DE3 Groups – Get on track with a street car or race car, no license needed, and experience high-speed lapping sessions.
• Regional & National SCCA Race Classes – Open to licensed drivers, including those with competition licenses from most sanctioning bodies.

The Club Racing Experience (CRE) is designed for those who have track experience but don’t yet hold an official competition license. This is an exciting opportunity to experience racing firsthand in a structured, safety-focused environment. All you need is a car that meets SCCA safety regulations. Whether you’re a car enthusiast eager to push your limits or a newcomer curious about racing, CRE is the ideal place to start.

Tech Inspections & Safety Requirements
Safety is the top priority. SCCA tech inspections will be available by appointment and on event day to ensure all vehicles meet regulations. Participants should also check their safety gear, including:
• Approved fire extinguisher & up-to-date seat belts
• Helmet, gloves, and head & neck device (HANS or similar)

Event Details:
Location: The Podium Club, 6870 S. Bianco Road, Casa Grande, AZ 85193
Track: 15-turn, 2.32-miles, world-class road racing circuit
Schedule: Gates open at 7 AM, on-track action from 8 AM - 5 PM
Admission: Free! Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the action. Food and beverages will be available.
